Alley 05
10. June 2011 by Friedhelm.
Sometimes little things make a huge difference. In this image the leaf on the lower left side draws a lot of attention. It sits right on the edge of the old shack which serves as two major leading lines.
Enjoy and happy Friday!

Alley 04
9. June 2011 by Friedhelm.
My partner David ignited in me the desire to photograph lines. Ever since we talked about lines I look for them. In this image the powerlines drew my attention. The blue yellow contrast adds even more interest to this image.
Enjoy and keep on photographing!

Alley 03
8. June 2011 by Friedhelm.
While I was walking down the alley I discovered some wild growing grain. I used my 70-200 lens with a 12mm extension tube to get this image.
Enjoy and keep on walking down the alleys. You will find all kinds of interesting subjects!

Alley 02
7. June 2011 by Friedhelm.
The light in between the rain showers was just great. I love the contrast between the blue-gay sky and the brown-reddish houses and fences. Of course the power lines are an added bonus.
Enjoy and keep on photographing!

Alley 01
6. June 2011 by Friedhelm.
Most communities have great back alleys. Go walk along them and I am sure you will find great subjects.
We had a lot of rain during the week-end. I drove to downtown Merced and photographed along this alley in between showers. I was hoping to catch a few reflections in the rain puddles.
Enjoy and happy photographing!
